I am not sure how you got that traceback. It looks like you got into
roundup-admin install mode without using the -it flag to docker run.

I have code to detect when roundup_start is called with "shell" but is
missing the docker '-it' flags.

Demo mode should never become interactive. With admin mode, you can
give non-interactive commands on the command line. So I don't check
there either.
