Agreed as well, the current situation makes Midgard development really

The problem on the main site is occasional MidCOM cache corruption.
I've tried to solve it by having the cache invalidated from cron
every two hours, but apparently that isn't enough.

As to the mirror on nemein.net, DNS provider joker.com had somehow
erased all entries on that domain. It should be working again now.

It is not the application, it is just that Torben moved it to new
server and didn't install those missing services.

component, so it should track different versions sufficiently.
I'll be happy to add stuff if an important feature is missing.

The latest snaps can remain, but I think most of the other things
on the site can be just turned off.
The idea was to change the Aegir server to be dev.aegir-cms.org where

content being on http://www.midgard-project.org/projects/aegir/

As to the idea of running an association for Midgard, that is obviously
what could help here. However, we tried it already once with "Midgard
Project Ry" but it appeared that there was too much overhead involved.

I would prefer working together with an existing association like ASF,
FSF, OSCOM or SPI, but most of them unfortunately carry too much of a
political agenda regarding licensing etc.

Now, if somebody here managed to convince me that he/she has the time
and resources required for setting up and managing the association for
next couple of years, I'll be more than happy to help in the switchover.
