The PDF is automatically generated using XSL-FO and apache/fop from the 
XHTML-resources so the two versions are always in sync.

Keeping the thing like it is now would be great, because of the 
opportunity to generate the print version using the online one and thus 
having only one source.

Style is a question of stylesheets anyway, at least for the online 
version but for the print version as well, as long as it's generated 
with some tool like fop.

There are different versions of the manual for users, administrators and 
developers already. I think a dummy would fit into the user category. I 
don't think it makes sense to introduce another category.

The only real problem with the existing documentation is that it's 
hellishly outdated and therefore of no real use for anyone. This is 
currently a general problem with documentation for fluxcms which has to 
solved one day :)
