"multi-language-blog"

hi

again i've thought about how to get a "multi-language" blog for my 3- 
language-site. i had some ideas, but i'm not shure if they are  
realizable in a way (with my knowledge...):

#1| use categories
maybe i could use categories ("de", "fr", "en") to assign every post  
to a particular language (because it only has to be a "news-system",  
i hopefully don't need more than one category per language).
could this be a "good" idea?
how could i select the "right" posts for every language? (on the  
german "blog" i only use the "de" category, etc.)

#2 | use tags
maybe i could be possible to select the "blog"-entries by tags...? so  
i could put a "de"-tag (and others, of course) to every german entry  
and put only the entries with "de"-tags on the german page...?
could this work?
