Says who? :) What's a XML-framework in this "comparison"? Cocoon/Popoon?
Or something else? Did anyone actually compare Cocoon to RoR? I found

I still think, Rails and [CP]o[cp]oon have a different approach and you
can't use one model on the other. But there are certainly some things we
can learn from RoR, but as I said in my last post, this could be handled
in a plugin, resp. an editor.

But maybe I just don't get :) You need to tell me more how you think one
could integrate RoR stuff in Flux CMS to make me "Wow, Yes, We Need
Exactly That" :)

You mean an application from scratch? Look into the links plugin and the
links editor, they are quite simple. But yes, more documentation is
needed. I'm  currently quite busy and the rest of Bitflux is in
holidays, so can you please ask specific questions and I can try to
answer them, I just can't come up right now with a full fledged tutorial
:) But inc/bx/plugins/links.php is certainly a good start
