Re: web to print workflow

Of course it all depends on the details of your situation and your
priorities, but you may want to investigate some of the
publishing-oriented packages. One that comes to mind (only because I've
seen demos of their offerings) is XyEnterprise XPP. This allows you to
repurpose web content for print using Quark-style layout templates, with
content provided either from their CMS (Contenta) or from another XML
CMS. I think Arbortext also has solutions in this space.

	I may be looking for something that doesn't exist commercially,
but am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction.
	 
	Does anyone know of a system that integrates web to print
workflow from WITHIN a web based CMS? This would have to include some
sort of Quark/InDesign layout into the web CMS template system and have
the ability to produce high resolution PDF files for print.
