I heard a rumor that M$CMS has been discontinued and/or merged with Sharepoint
(this is not (yet) reflected on Microsoft's marketing site).  Does anyone have
the details?

This may be a little off-topic, but does anyone have experience working with
Sharepoint, especially in this merged environment?  I am wondering how
complete a content/site management tool this Sharepoint architecture might
provide, and whether this is a decent portal offering compared to Eppicentric,
etc.
