I did a search for content management tutorial in using google and yahoo and all I got was links to either tutorial in how to use a certain content managment product or how to select a content management. And they all assume that the reader is IT professional. I am interested in a good tutorial for executives that have no IT background but need understand what is content management in order to make a sound decision. I am interested in the following: - what is content management? - what is portal? - what is the diference between a portal software and a content management software, if any? - what is the typical workflow from the moment a content provider produces a information and have this piece of the information posted on the web site? - who are the major players in the market?
