Hi Amit, 

We have been using Vignette V6 for about 2.5 years now so have some 
experience to share. However, I cannot directly compare with Interwoven 
as I have no experience on it.

Also, my experience on V6 may not be helpful as Vignette are about to ditch 
that version in the near future anyway.

I would agree with other comments about the cost of Vignette. It probably isn't 
suitable for Universities as it requires lots of effort to build and maintain. 
It also requires fairly heavy-duty hardware to run efficiently.

It is more suitable for large organisations with enterprise-class resources and 
budgets. I would recommend doing more research on middle-tier solutions and see 
if they match your requirements more closely.
