This is exactly what I'm after. I believe that asp dot Net will make
take a load off development and maintenance. And if we can find a CMS
that will allow customizing in this environment I believe that we'll
benefit us.

I don't want to spam the list with this as an advertisement, and
requirements vary greatly by project, architecture, management, staff
and developer expectations and background, etc.  When I was doing the
same research last summer I found .NET to be the best platform and
Sitecore to be the best CMS, not just the best .NET CMS.  I work for
Sitecore now so I am biased, but as a technologist and developer I truly
enjoy working with the product every day.
