[Microsoft-based solution for a portal + CMS system] : Microso ft SharePoint portal + Microsoft CMS ?

 
Hi.

I need to recommend my client to choose the best Portal + CMS system in his
technical / organizational present context. It looks for many reasons that
we should recommend him a Microsoft-based solution.
 
I am looking for the best pair of tools to fullfill both Portal + CMS needs.

As for Portal, I have identified Microsoft SharePoint portal server as a
good solution to our need (light but simple collaborative functionnalities +
document managament + personalization + additional specific dev through
WebParts...)

As for the CMS tools, I have identified Microsoft CMS as a good solution
though it could be too 'strong' , complex and costly for our needs...

Could you recommend me some other tools that would fit with Microsoft
SharePoint portal server as a complementary CMS tools (DotNetNuke ? Another
editor tool ? ...); 

Do you have an other proposal for Microsoft based solution for a [portal +
CMS ]  system ?
