Job Description:
Content management professional with strong analytical and writing skills
needed. This person will understand the principles of content management,
electronic performance support, and information design and will be able to
apply these to their work. This person will be a problem solver with strong
people skills; will have exceptional writing skills and the ability to work
independently and as part of a group. 

Responsibilities: 
. Writing and editing performance support content so that it can be quickly
found and understood in an online system. 
. Analyzing information and categorizing content based on existing taxonomy.

. Identifying solutions for process and content weaknesses and suggesting
actionable plans around those solutions. 
. Working with the management team to develop the strategic direction of the
team and take the actions necessary to move toward that strategy.

Required: 
. 4-year degree 
. 2 or more years professional experience in information management (not
technology) 
. Understanding of information architecture and taxonomies, with
demonstrated ability to apply concepts to daily work 
. Understanding of performance support, with demonstrated ability to apply
concepts to daily work 
. Experience and success in managing projects 
. Strong communication and writing skills 
. Strong analytical skills 

Preferred: 
. Advanced degree in Content Management, Library and Information Science,
Information Retrieval, Knowledge Management, or related fields 
. Professional experience in information management or performance support
for a call center or similar time-sensitive environment 
. Information Mapping principles 
. Fundamental understanding of knowledge systems and content management
systems
