CM Consulting Opportunity

Hi,

 

Our Web Marketing & eBusiness team is seeking a Content Management
Consultant, located in Foster City in the SF Bay Area, to help us on a
limited assignment.  Our group maintains an internal Sales Portal for our
Field Sales team that contains pre- and post-sales collateral, product and
channel materials.  The Portal is built on a CMS and contains meta
information for each document that assures that it appears on relevant pages
within the Portal.

 

The good news is that adoption of our Portal among the Field and Marketing
has been hugely successful; it now contains over 3 thousand documents in 12
languages.  The not so good news is that the Portal's structure has outgrown
the information architecture and "type/category" tagging schema that we used
to build the initial version of the site.  We seriously need to overhaul the
IA and content structure of the Portal to adapt to our growing volume of
materials and expanding product lines.

 

We are looking for an outside consultant who has proven experience with the
following:

 

*	Content analysis and modeling 
*	Information architecture 
*	Metadata taxonomy 
*	Online user experience
