We are using copy/paste navigation trees for different languages and
some custom logic to keep language consistent in current session.
Your idea about having dropdown for different languages is great,
although for some exotic languages which are not included in resource
bundle this will not help.
Our current framework to add content is like this:
1. Say i have custom type named Program, which has simply image and
Body. I am inserting image and then english text, after that i am
tagging it in categories as Language=English.
2. Then i am doing same procedure then adding armenian text and tagging
it as an armenian language.
If i would have in my PLP "Copy Item" button it would just copy my
item's content and i dont have at least to add an image one more time
(which could be time consuming when you have more than 100 images).
After that i will paste into body my armenian content and finish it.
