Links? Basic Howto?

I got Farcry up and running and it seems pretty cool.  I have yet to 
find any good, useful documentation other than Jeff Coughlin's videos. 
They're nice, but only touch on the power of this thing.

I'm trying to figure out how to setup Links.  The videos make no mention 
of it, and all the documentation I've found is marked as "not available" 
(offline for revamping).

What I've done is setup a navigation tab called Forum, the point of 
which is to basically redirect to a new URL for a web forum I setup 
elsewhere.

Under that tab (in the Sites area of the Admin section), I created a 
Link and gave it the appropriate URL.  When I Preview it, it works 
great.  But when I go to the actual site and refresh, then click Forum, 
it says Page Not Found.  And it's no wonder... the URL is wrong.  The 
proper friendly url should be whatever.com/go/forum/support-forum but 
the actual url is coming out as whatever.com/go/support-forum.  I've 
cleared my cache and everything (Firefox 2) but it hasn't helped.

In addition, how does it work when you add multiple content items to a 
tab?  I.e. let's say I have an "About" tab and under it I might have 
"about us" and another might be "contact us" and a third might be "map." 
  How do you get to those pages?

I need to get this thing figured out quickly.  I have an appt on 
Thursday to present it to my client.  I know it's what they need and 
want, but it'll look a lot better if I know what I'm doing. :)
