Rob,

Welcome! You are correct in acknowledging that FarCry is powerful. The
challenging part is getting immersed far enough that you can actually tap
into the power.

I had the exact same question as you do in terms of "how do I get to the
child links of a nav node?"

There is a way. However, it seems that the more conventional way (after
reading, coding, watching, etc.) is to have a single nav node for every html
page. In instances where the parent node should not actually have a page,
you simply do a redirect from that node to a child node's page.

As far as your forum url problem, it seems to me that you may want to use an
include page that does the redirect to the exact url rather than trying to
rely on your object's output of the friendly url.

The FarCry board traffic has been painfully slow for the past couple of
weeks. I have questions that have gone unanswered, and held back some
questions until the traffic picks up again.

If I am around and I can help you, I will do so.

Regards,

Josen
