If I understand correctly you want to hide draft content from other authors 
having wrtie or admin permissions on the same page (and thus having the 
legitimate right to access to such content in edit mode)?

If you really want to make that from an automatic manner, you may perhaps 
try to create two event listeners. The first one catching the event of a 
new container on a page and automatically setting the ACL permissions for 
all users to none excepted for the current user. And a second one after the 
workflow to reset the default inheritance mechanism on this object.
