Problem compiling and executing Community Edition

Hi:

I am new in Jahia and I have some problems.
I have downloaded and compiled the sources of the Community Edition with
maven. I deployed the war into tomcat 5.0.
Then I started tomcat, followed the installation wizard with success. I
restarted the tomcat and when I want to point the browser to
localhost:8080/jahia, I get this error message:
"404 error - page [-1] could not be found in the database or is no longer
accessible."
Any idea?
When I start tomcat, it takes a long time, throwing this log: "Memory limit
reached (free=xxxxx), flushing xxxxx cache entries". Then, after a few
minutes, I get the 404 error.
I´ll hope you can help me.
