Yes, this feature will be in release 4.0.5.  You can d/l a dev build here 
http://cvspub.jahia.org/nightly-build/latest/ .

Users can choose at login time if they want Jahia to "remember them" or 
not, but the duration a cookie is stored is set on a server basis, in the 
jahia.properties file.
