Re: How to use the Directory People template

We added a new parameter but only in the new 
Jahia 5.0 release to restric searches to 
sub-pages. You have an example in the template 
"metadata api" in the corporate templates in the 5.0 release.

Else you need to understand that a Jahia site is 
a tree of various different content definitions. 
So you can esaily search in a certain type of 
objects (e.g. your news) but searching in a whole 
subtree which would include various distinct 
content definitions is more complex to do 
(including the fact: how do you display the 
search results when you even do not know when 
developing your template what will be the 
sub-elements the search will return...).
