Thanks for the clarification guys.  I understand the issues with 
versioning. 

I will start looking at zOGI instead of the old XML-RPC interface.

And apologies for the HTML mail.  I was appalled when I saw that was the 
form that got sent.   I'd forgotten that fresh Notes installs defaulted to 
that format for sending internet mail.
