Hi, end of last week, I and Adam were talking about the ogo website, and how old its contents is, and that it is just not very nice looking and doesnt seem to be easily maintainable. Nothing new, the conclusion was, as also some times before, the website needs a redesign. To not as before, forget about the topic some short time later, I got a friend interested, to actually design sth. new, and setup the initial stuff in a CMS, probably joomla. How does that sound? He wants to come along at my place one evening (MET) this week, to talk about the design of the site. When I know which day, I'll let you know. I'll then be in IRC, freenode, #ogo channel, where we could discuss design decisions, proposals, .... To collect ideas prior, I'd suggest to use a page in the docs plone, or any better idea? Is there a way in the docs plone to collaborate on a single page like a wiki? I think to collect ideas, the comment function should also be sufficient, but a site where everybody could enter sth. would be not so cluttered up in the end. I'd ask everybody here to share its ideas about what a new ogo homepage should look like, which features it shall contain, and the like, and either post it here, or on the docs plone page (in case nobody comes up with sth. better suite for the task). Or at that evening, to jump in into IRC #ogo channel and join the discussion ther regards Sebastian -- OpenGroupware.org Discussion [email protected] http://mail.opengroupware.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
