This is not really a groupware nor a CMS topic, > though obviously there are integration points ;-) RT is a fine app, but really lacks a documentation manager... there's the rtfm module (request ticket faq manager) that extracts content from tickets, but the user interface for developing content further is extremely limited. plone hooks would be nice here for editing and publishing. (extract content from ticket -> plone) from ogo to RT there's a real need for customer information and project tracking from a central data store or crm software to be associated (read only) with each ticket.. it would be really nice when a ticket is set in RT a calendar entry appears in ogo indicating it's deadline etc. updates could be problematic... :) off the top of my head, these would be good places to begin. as far as my efforts, these integration needs are being addressed, but nothing useful to report at this time. have fun, -- kelley g oooooooooooooooooooooooooo http://toasterz.com http://exchangekiller.com oooooooooooooooooooooooooo -- OpenGroupware.org Discussion [email protected] http://mail.opengroupware.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss
