That could be a good idea as it would make it easier for people to understand. A project is a defined set of tasks, with a start and a finish date. A workspace could be something that is indefinate (common documents, knowledge base, etc.) It might be a bit of effort in the programming side, but it could make a big difference for the end-users. That could also tie into the forum request, where a forum could be another "project type".
