Well, I think you misunderstood me. IMHO all those things (project, forum, workspace) are technically the same things, the only difference is that people coming from different backgrounds expect different labels to be able to understand what it can be used for. I'm not sure that creating 1...n different links in the UI is a good solution to approach that issue.
