A recent distro of SuSe comes with all the required packages, and all basic
configuration (mail, LDAP, etc...) can be accomplished via YAST2.

You can't *create* the DSA via point & click, but you can setup to use an
existing one via YAST2, for the OS anyway.

It really takes about ten minutes to create a working mail server & LDAP
client.

Recent versions of Exchange use WebDAV, you can get data from the Exchange
server using basically any DAV client.  MAPI is a legacy thing, even in the
Exchange world (although for all I know it still uses MAPI internally, I've
only been the client to Exchange systems - the concept of another cluster of M$
services makes me break out in hives).
