Feature: Clip + Link

All,

Could you please explain me what does the OGo's feature called "Clip" do 
? because when I start a project I usually manage others features as: 
contents and its permissions, create and manage folders, tasks, 
scheduling things etc. But when I look at this feature called "Clip" I 
do not know what to do and what's the meaning of that. This is my first 
question.

The second one is about the feature "Link": I suppose that when I create 
a project and/or schedule something where there're other people involved 
with this issue, the feature "Link" allows them to access the 
information by the link that I sent with the project's information...but 
the link doesn't work.
