rev. control for documents

I'm new to opengroupeware; but I like the features it offers. 

Is it possible to have a rev. control feature for documents stored under 
projects? can we use subversion as a backend, and everytime users upload new 
data, it gets checked in subversion automatically. 

There is no need to support fancy merge and branch features for now. just 
the ability to restore an old version of the document; a lot like some 
wikis.
