| The GroupDAV part (I believe) only pertains to the address book in
| Thunderbird. The connector relies on Sunbird/Lightning to do the
| calendaring - and they require CalDAV (AFAIK they actively support
| *ONLY* CalDAV at this point). My understanding is that the connector
| only does address book sync and some Sunbird/Lightning<->Addressbook
| glue.
|
| On the other hand, last time I tried the connector it didn't work with
| OGo anyway. I haven't looked at it any further but I think it is
| actually more of a CardDAV connector. I'll know more shortly as I'm
| about to test that.
|
| My vacation project is to see if I can get Sunbird & the GroupDAV
| (CardDAV?) connector working.

Lets get confusion get some more data...
I use OGo trunk for some years now, and for nearly a year I can use
lighnting (thunderbrid plugin) with zidelook to read/write calendar data
into OGo and read it from OGo.
Since a special daily built (and 0.8 final) that does not work anymore,
as zidelook/OGo does not support multiget in CalDAV.
But with lightning 0.7 it is still working more or less fine.

IF you can get multiget into zidelook/OGo and lightning 0.8 work with
OGo again, it will be really great - as I do not need to switch to
Outlook and Exchange.

And yes, I vote for full CalDAV support in OGo(zidelook) ;-)
