Skyaptnotify is configured to run through cron.
*/5 * * * * su - ogo -c "/usr/local/bin/skyaptnotify" 2>&1 >/dev/null
I am not receiving any error messages regarding passwords, or the root
user not being able to log in. Here is a copy of the skyaptnotify
configuration file.
Following is the message being received by the OGO Administrator after
the cron job runs.
Aug 07 13:20:01 skyaptnotify [5116]: Note: storing cached vCards files
in: '/var/lib/opengroupware.org/documents'
Aug 07 13:20:01 skyaptnotify [5116]: account::change-password: using
password field: 'userPassword'
Aug 07 13:20:01 skyaptnotify [5116]: Note: members of role team
'team creators' are allowed to create teams.
Aug 07 13:20:01 skyaptnotify [5116]: Note: PostgreSQL72 adaptor
using timezone 'GMT' as default
And, here is a copy of my skyaptnotify.plist file.
{
AptNotifyFromAdress = "[email protected]";
AptNotifySentResourcesFile = "/var/log/opengroupware/sent-
resources";
AptNotifySkyrixPassword = **********;
AptNotifySkyrixUser = root;
AptNotifyVerbose = NO;
}
The root password is the same as I use to log into the system with a
terminal window.
I am running Mac OS X. And, I have tried the notifications with both
Firefox and Safari (pop-up blockers disabled).
I am sure this is something simple that I am missing. Any ideas?
Thanks for your help.
