Ok - Just to be clear. I looking at appointments through Oulook with the
Zidelook / Zidestore connector.
If I go to the configuration page at
http://192.168.1.2:8050/zidestore/so/{username}/settings I can see
choices for MET, GMT, PST. EST and CST. Changing those settings seems to
have no effect. The display of appointments in Outlook is showing in GMT.
Currently BST is in effect in the UK and the appointments appear one
hour after they are meant to be.
Looking in
/opt/skyrix/skyrix5/Libraries/Resources/libFoundation/TimeZoneInfo I can
see many more timezone options that the ones that can be selected via
http://192.168.1.2:8050/zidestore/so/{username}/settings
A casual 'diff' between a few files in
/opt/skyrix/skyrix5/Libraries/Resources/libFoundation/TimeZoneInfo
and
/usr/local/share/libFoundation/TimeZoneInfo/
Show no differences for the few files I looked at. I have, however,
applied Adam's suggestion from his earlier e-mail.
It seems as if the Zidelook / Zidestore arrangement is ignoring the
files in
/opt/skyrix/skyrix5/Libraries/Resources/libFoundation/TimeZoneInfo or is
configured to look elsewhere for the timezone data.
I would appreciate some guidance on how to correct this anomaly as the
end user is getting rather frustrated with a wrong calendar.
Many thanks
Ken
