It is on the radar, but I [personally] won't be able to try for a bit.
Don't know if anyone else will.  My work queue pretty much looks like:

1.) Working task search for use by the zOGI bungle (almost done)
2.) Remove the old property cache stuff (started)
3.) Panel calendar (almost done)

4.) Make team calendars [folders] appear in WebDAV.  Currently you can
poll them via the URL but they don't appear as children in the folder
tree.

There is an example of RRULE processing in the
_fixupICalRecurrenceInMaster method of the LSNewAppointmentCommand
command (Logic/LSScheduler/LSNewAppointmentCommand.m).  Possibly that
logic can be ported into LSNewAppointmentFromVEventCommand
[appointment::new-with-vevent] which is used by
ZideStore/ZSBackend/SxAptManager+iCal.m
