very much agreed, whereas Seth's question leads one to think that there 
isn't
such a thing yet as you describe, which is very unfortunate I think.

I think E-Mail should also be handled by content management systems, 
whereas I also
very much appreciate my local desktop client (e.g. Thunderbird, etc.)
