I think that is outright ridiculous. Why should that be of no interest? My point is that it is very very valid to send this announcement exactly because you find out how we try to make a living, and those of you that pay your salary know what that means. If you don't like my announcement, simply delete it. I don't like to be kept in check by unwritten rules of what I may or may not do - where is your "open" spirit? I feel like I live in a dictatorship country, with strong censorship "no, thats not allowed" Ah, thats forbidden too, I am sorry", "nope, you can't do that either" ... We had a discussion a while back on this list (when it was still somewhat alive) that you need to know the secret handshake to be recognized as a valued OSCOM member. I still feel this spirit here in your responses. We recently tried a revival of OSCOM but *none* of you was even remotely interested to do anything in that direction. But sending an email that explains that additional to a great (and free) open source offering there is availability of other editions that provide additional benefits gets lots of attention. I think that speaks volumes about the state OSCOM is in. - Boris
