If you disagree with the philosophy behind 'open source' (to be clear: I'm refering to the movement behind free (as in freedom) software) I would suggest using some new terminology. Respect that there are masses of people supporting the principles behind the OSI. They have to organise, somehow- you know, that's what people do when they share a common belief. Since intellectual property is a big planet of worms anyways, why would you nitpick over the fact that they're a non-binding legal entity? Who is?
