We might be in a wait state, but not because of people contacting me  
about membership. :^)

IMO, the "DISCUSS: Getting a new board in place" is the current wait  
state:

1) Do people agree on the idea of using a board election to test  
whether OSCOM-the-entity can be revived?

2) If so, how might the nomination and election process work (since  
the bylaws are, I think, silent on that)?

3) Finally, does anybody want to work with me as part of an election  
committee, to conduct the process agreed to in (2)?  Obviously you  
shouldn't be a candidate if you are on the election committee.
