The member (both previous and in the new list posted today) get to  
vote for the board, if I understand the bylaws correctly:

I don't think there is a process for saying how people get nominated  
for the board election.  I also don't think membership is required to  
serve on the board.

On the latter...when I said "member" I meant "OSCOM Member" as  
defined in Article 3 of the bylaws.

This is augmented by the new list I sent around today, which adds to  
the membership.  Thus "we still have old members deciding things" is  
not correct.

Yes, we need new bylaws.  But bylaw changes can't happen by fiat.   
You need an active membership (e.g. shows up for annual meetings) and  
active board.  Thus my effort to get enough new blood into the legal  
entity that can legally fix things.
