+1 from me if there is a bit more solid proposal (when, where, what theme).

I think this whole issue could've been avoided if you had come forward
right in the beginning and said "let me do a conference" instead of
"we should think of doing a conference". This is the right spirit for
getting things done :-)

Vikings were good at sailing and burning down things... not
necessarily in running industry associations ;-)

While I would love to do more *if* I had the time, I'm also ready to
step down from the board.
But only on the condition that there is a new board that will really
accomplish things. If OSCOM continues in its current status, I'd
rather stay on they board and help to oversee the dismantling.
