Re: [OSCOM] Sandro steps back

Hi, All,

I would summarize some of worthwhile suggestions as the following.

-- Anyone interested in serving as a board member nominate themselves 
via this list. Other posters have made the essential point that any 
board member must be willing and able to spend time organizing a 
revitalized OSCOM.
-- We hold a general membership meeting (via Skype or other means) to 
discuss how to elect the board, new bylaws, etc. (No complaining about 
others will be be allowed, in the interest of time and attention of 
everyone involved!)
-- We elect a board, adopt some revised or new bylaws.
-- We focus on how to organize a conference to drive new membership. I 
would recommend hiring a professional conference management firm.

I continue to believe that OSCOM has an important mission.
