The data here would be articles, and the people keying in this data would be
people from journalistic background. I want them to type away on their
browser, rather than a word processor. Want to be able to have these guys
not worry about the technology and processing, but just key in their
articles in a rather simple editor and send it off to a central database
where it would be tagged.

Considering setting up and evaluating Drupal for this. I know it's a but of
an overkill, but I'm not quite finding the right tool for this exercise.
Like you mentioned, I'm more confortable using php than java. but if you can
suggest something in java that would have an API that should work.
