This project requires intranet site where private members share and 
collaborate using private mailing list. They need strong meta 
data/keyword/vocab possibly annotation and taxonomy.

There is existing documents and mailing list to migrate; ~1000 documents 
and a few years' worth of mailing list archive of 100 members.  There is 
a possibility of migrating current membership.

This is a straightforward project which  can lead to  similiar projects.

I know Plone and teamspace and sharepoint have been proposed. Although 
they will satisfy needs in different degrees, I like to see lighter 
framework used and using file system for storage of large number of 
files up to tens of thousands.
