exactly our thought when we established editors@oscom

there is some code sharing going on between bxe and kupu as a result, 
which is very nice. at the same time, the amount of talented open source 
javascript developers seems to be fairly small. it must have something 
to do with itch scratching and status issues (javascript got a bad rap 
by early transgressions, just like flash)

and from what i understand, kupu has plans to be a textarea replacement 
one day, but i'll let the kupu developers speak about that if they want ;)
