the ASF is a non-profit organization, so even if the ASF is earning 
money with the conference, then it still will be non-profit, right?

Whereas I guess Security Travel is not non-profit, right?

agreed and didn't mean any harm re Security Travel. I just wanted to express
that the world isn't black and white and it's not so easy to 
differentiate where
spam starts and where it stops. So please don't feel offended re by 
statements
above.

Nevertheless I am still not certain if Boris' email should be considered 
spam or not.

So, any other opinions are very welcome.
