lazyness has nothing to do with it.
privacy has!

we had reply-to munging on this list.
it caused a few private mails that should not have gone to the list to
be sent here by accident.

the munging was removed on user request for user convenience: to make it
easy on the user to not make harmfull mistakes.

it is not the admins that are lazy here, on the contrary. the admins
actually had to make an effort and change this to the current state to
protect the users privacy and follow the users wishes.

now you come and wish the opposite. fine, but please honor the wishes of
the majority of users on this list, none of which have argued agains the
change last time it happened. admins have nothing to do with it, i am
sure they will happliy comply if the majority of the list actually
wishes so. personally i don't care either way, i can rely on mutt to
ignore reply-to list and thus i don't need sane list settings to protect
my privacy.

greetings, martin.
