Applying templates to stories/sections

Hi Joe/anyone

Still playing with phpslash 0.8 alpha.... my next question:

What I want to do is use different versions of storyIndex.tpl depending on
what section is being displayed (possibly through adding options to
sections?)

I also want to be able to specify a non-default template for a story.

I've been looking at the code (Story::getStory and Story::getStories) and
there seems to be a way to say that a section should use a particular
template. In fact it seems that there may be several ways.... so:

Is there a way from the user interface to specify what template should be
used? If not, where would be the best place to add this ability? I also
want to be able to control what version of story.tpl is used to populate
the content of storyIndex.tpl.
