For the record,

I also remembered and quickly tested the metatag plugin: https://doc.tiki.org/PluginMetaTag

Didn’t have success… I could set the title, so I tried the description and it didn’t change.
Finally I tried it using a sample from the page on twitter and it kind of broke all the twitter tags in the head of the page.

No joy...
