[Tiki-devel] GitLab settings

Hi all

Last week Gary and i found we couldn't use the GitLab GUI to cherry pick commits from one branch to another due to the branch name rules...



and as it looks like a useful thing to be able to do i thought i'd have a go at fixing it 🤓😱

I set up a personal test project and cherry picked a commit and found the branch name pattern (mine was called cherry-pick-52f2aec4) so added that to the regex we have on our repo (that Fabio set up long ago) that only allows branches like "25.x" and "tiki-feature-branch" etc to keep things tidy.

I couldn't find any record of these settings on dev so i started a page here:
