Re: [Tiki-devel] A default for the list of plugins, whose bodies should be indexed

Hi!

The easiest way of doing it, would be to just set a reasonable default for
the "Exclude plugins" or the "Except included plugins" setting in the Search
control panel.

But I'd like to suggest to do it the following way. We could have two
settings in the Search control panel: "Include plugins" and "Exclude
plugins". We'd also have defaults for all plugins, which would get
overridden by those two settings.

Those defaults would be set in the "wikiplugin_..._info()" function in each
plugin. We should also provide an easy way of displaying the defaults. This
could be done with a button in the Search control panel, named "Show
defaults". It would open a window, which lists all plugins enabled and
disabled by default.

I guess it would be rare that someone needs something different from the
default, when a reasonable default has been chosen.

The system wide rules of inclusion/exclusion in search, could also be
overridden by a per-occurrence attribute "searchable", the way Rick has
proposed.

Cheers,
Volker
