This ist where I refer to the WikiPlugins.

Support for WikiPlugins IS A MUST HAVE.

From my point of view it should be enough, if the Markdown parser recognises the existance of a WikiPlugin and lets Tiki parse it. But that is a question you have to discuss with the coders.
