I do not have anything against that.

Original Markdown is limited indeed and CommonMark still does not have
extensions resolved - that's why I was 'pushing' Markdown Extra:
https://michelf.ca/projects/php-markdown/extra/ which is practically standard
within PHP community.

Afaict, WikiSyntax has some additional stuff like Multi-page pages, Drawings,
RSS feeds etc. which are not directly supported in Markdown (Extra), but main
advantage it is well-supported by external tools.
